Calling all junior faculty to a conversation about promotion!

Are you planning to apply for promotion soon? Is it a ways down the road still? No worries. Dr. Felicity Enders, a Professor of Biostatistics at Mayo Clinic, Head of the Section of Clinical Statistics, and former TSHS Chair is going to help you plan the long-view.

Felicity is a voting member of Mayo's Academic Appointment and Promotion Committee. She also coordinates the promotions committee in TSHS, helping to match people with potential external reviewers.

Abstract: It's sometimes hard to know how to navigate the promotion process for faculty who are statistical educators in the health sciences. During this round table discussion we'll engage in a few topics:

  1. How to promote yourself through your CV,

  2. What areas to focus on as you build your career, and

  3. Preparing for promotion by taking the long view
